T hy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin.

Le tue ricchezze, le tue mercanzie, le tue merci, i tuoi marinai, i tuoi piloti, quelli che riparavano le tue falle, i trafficanti delle tue merci, tutti gli uomini di guerra che sono in te e tutta la moltitudine che è in mezzo a te cadranno nel cuore dei mari nel giorno della tua rovina.
