R ejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, that dwellest in the land of Uz; the cup also shall pass through unto thee: thou shalt be drunken, and shalt make thyself naked.

Alegre-se e exulte, ó terra de Edom, você que vive na terra de Uz. Mas a você também será servido o cálice: você será embriagada e as suas roupas serão arrancadas.
