Lamentations 2:8 ~ Plângeri 2:8

T he Lord hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he hath stretched out a line, he hath not withdrawn his hand from destroying: therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament; they languished together.

Domnul a hotărât să distrugă zidul fiicei Sionului. El a întins o linie de măsurat şi nu Şi-a retras mâna de la distrugere. El a făcut întăritura şi zidul să plângă, astfel că ele suferă împreună.
