M y people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.

Il mio popolo era un gregge di pecore smarrite; i loro pastori le avevano sviate sui monti dell’infedeltà; esse andavano di monte in colle, avevano dimenticato il luogo del loro riposo.
