n ot according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:

nu ca legământul pe care l-am încheiat cu strămoşii lor, în ziua când i-am luat de mână ca să-i scot din ţara Egiptului, legământ pe care l-au rupt, măcar că aveam drepturi de soţ asupra lor, zice Domnul.
