T hen took Haman the apparel and the horse, and arrayed Mordecai, and brought him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaimed before him, Thus shall it be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour.

Hamã, pois, tomou os trajes e o cavalo e vestiu a Mardoqueu, e o fez andar montado pela praça da cidade, e proclamou diante dele: Assim se faz ao homem a quem o rei se agrada honrar!
