A nd the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of the Lord, which David the king had made to praise the Lord, because his mercy endureth for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.

I sacerdoti stavano in piedi, compiendo il loro servizio; così pure i Leviti, con gli strumenti musicali consacrati al Signore, che il re Davide aveva fatti per lodare il Signore, la cui bontà dura in eterno, quando anche Davide celebrava con essi il Signore; e i sacerdoti suonavano la tromba di fronte ai Leviti, e tutto Israele stava in piedi.
