A fter all this, when Josiah had prepared the temple, Necho king of Egypt came up to fight against Carchemish by Euphrates: and Josiah went out against him.

عَمِلَ يُوشِيّا كُلَّ هَذِهِ الأشياءِ الصّالِحَةِ مِنْ أجلِ الهَيكَلِ. وَفِيما بَعْدُ، جاءَ نَخُوُ مَلكُ مِصْرَ عَلَى رَأْسِ جَيشٍ لِيَخُوضَ حَرْباً فِي مَدِينَةِ كَرْكَمِيشَ عَلَى نَهرِ الفُراتِ. فَخَرَجَ المَلِكُ يُوشِيّا لِيَعْتَرِضَ طَرِيقَهُ.
