a nd brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully: over which Cononiah the Levite was ruler, and Shimei his brother was the next.

ثُمَّ أحضَرَ الكَهَنَةُ التَّقِدِماتِ وَالعُشُورَ وَكُلَّ الأشياءِ الَّتِي خُصِّصَتْ للهِ، وَوَضَعُوها فِي مَخازِنِ الهَيكَلِ. وَكانَ كُونَنْيا الَّلاوِي مَسؤُولاً عَنْها، وَكانَ أخُوهُ شَمْعَى مُساعِداً لَهُ.
