F or there were many in the congregation that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing of the passovers for every one that was not clean, to sanctify them unto the Lord.

Visto que muitos na multidão não se haviam consagrado, os levitas tiveram que matar cordeiros da Páscoa para todos os que não estavam cerimonialmente puros e que, por isso, não podiam consagrar os seus cordeiros ao Senhor.
