A nd a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: therefore he said to his chariot man, Turn thine hand, that thou mayest carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.

După aceea un arcaş a tras cu arcul la întâmplare şi l-a lovit pe regele lui Israel între armură şi zale. Regele i-a poruncit celui care mâna carul: „Întoarce şi scoate-mă de pe câmpul de luptă, pentru că am fost rănit!“
