F or the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

Vì con mắt của Đức Giê-hô-va soi xét khắp thế gian, đặng giúp sức cho kẻ nào có lòng trọn thành đối với Ngài. Trong việc này vua có cư xử cách dại dột, nên từ này về sau vua sẽ có giặc giã.
