1 Chronicles 28:2 ~ I Sử Ký 28:2

T hen David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building:

Vua Đa-vít đứng dậy nói rằng: Hỡi các anh em và dân sự ta, hãy nghe! Ta đã có ý xây cất một cái đền an nghỉ cho hòm giao ước của Đức Giê-hô-va, cho cái bệ chân của Đức Chúa Trời chúng ta; ta đã sắm thờ lạy cho sẵn đặng cất.
