H e removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.

他 廢 去 邱 壇 ， 毀 壞 柱 像 ， 砍 下 木 偶 ， 打 碎 摩 西 所 造 的 銅 蛇 ， 因 為 到 那 時 以 色 列 人 仍 向 銅 蛇 燒 香 。 希 西 家 叫 銅 蛇 為 銅 塊 ( 或 作 人 稱 銅 蛇 為 銅 像 ) 。
