I n the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.

La neuvième année d'Osée, le roi d'Assyrie prit Samarie, et emmena Israël captif en Assyrie. Il les fit habiter à Chalach, et sur le Chabor, fleuve de Gozan, et dans les villes des Mèdes.
