B ut Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king’s sons which were slain; and they hid him, even him and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so that he was not slain.

Dar Iehoşeba, fiica regelui Iehoram şi sora lui Ahazia, l-a luat pe ascuns pe Ioaş, fiul lui Ahazia, din mijlocul fiilor regelui, înainte ca ei să fi fost ucişi şi l-a pus împreună cu doica lui într-un dormitor. Astfel ea l-a ascuns de Atalia şi el n-a fost omorât.
