T hen the king of Israel called all the elders of the land, and said, Mark, I pray you, and see how this man seeketh mischief: for he sent unto me for my wives, and for my children, and for my silver, and for my gold; and I denied him not.

Entonces el rey de Israel llamó a todos los ancianos del país y les dijo: —Fijaos y ved ahora cómo éste no busca sino el mal; pues me ha mandado pedir mis mujeres y mis hijos, mi plata y mi oro, y yo no se lo he negado.
