A nd he said, Speak, I pray thee, unto Solomon the king, (for he will not say thee nay,) that he give me Abishag the Shunammite to wife.

Y Adonías le dijo: «Por favor, habla con el rey Salomón y pídele que me dé por esposa a Abisag la sunamita. Yo sé que a ti no te negará lo que le pidas.»
