A nd he took away the Sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.

وَفِي ذَلِكَ الوَقتِ، كانَ هُناكَ رِجالٌ يُبِيحُونَ أجْسادَهُمْ فِي عِبادَةِ آلِهَتِهِمْ، فَنَفاهُمْ آسا مِنْ يَهُوذا. وَنَزَعَ الأوثانَ الَّتِي سَبَقَ أنْ صَنَعَها آباؤهُ.
