A nd David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father’s sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.

“Não tenha medo”, disse-lhe Davi, “pois é certo que eu o tratarei com bondade por causa de minha amizade com Jônatas, seu pai. Vou devolver-lhe todas as terras que pertenciam a seu avô Saul, e você comerá sempre à minha mesa.”
