D avid smote also Hadadezer, the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to recover his border at the river Euphrates.

وكانَ هَدَدُ عَزَرُ بنُ رَحُوبَ ملِكَ صَوبَةَ. وَقَدْ هَزَمَهُ داوُدُ يَوْمَ ذهَبَ لِيستَولِيَ عَلَى المِنْطَقَةِ الواقِعَةِ بالْقُرْبِ من نَهْرِ الفُراتِ.
