A nd Joab said unto the king, Now the Lord thy God add unto the people, how many soever they be, an hundredfold, and that the eyes of my lord the king may see it: but why doth my lord the king delight in this thing?

Dar Ioab i-a zis regelui: – Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, să înmulţească poporul de o sută de ori mai mult şi fie ca stăpânul meu, regele, să vadă cu ochii săi lucrul acesta! Dar de ce doreşte stăpânul meu, regele, să facă acest lucru?
