A nd when Ahithophel saw that his counsel was not followed, he saddled his ass, and arose, and gat him home to his house, to his city, and put his household in order, and hanged himself, and died, and was buried in the sepulchre of his father.

Y cuando Ajitofel se dio cuenta de que no se había seguido su consejo, preparó su asno y salió de Jerusalén para irse a su ciudad, y cuando llegó a su casa la puso en orden, y luego fue y se ahorcó. Así fue como murió, y lo enterraron en el sepulcro de su padre.
