A nd Amnon was so vexed, that he fell sick for his sister Tamar; for she was a virgin; and Amnon thought it hard for him to do any thing to her.

Amnon était tourmenté jusqu'à se rendre malade à cause de Tamar, sa soeur; car elle était vierge, et il paraissait difficile à Amnon de faire sur elle la moindre tentative.
