A nd David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.

大 衛 又 問 他 說 ： 事 情 怎 樣 ？ 請 你 告 訴 我 。 他 回 答 說 ： 百 姓 從 陣 上 逃 跑 ， 也 有 許 多 人 仆 倒 死 亡 ； 掃 羅 和 他 兒 子 約 拿 單 也 死 了 。
