A nd Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the Egyptians sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them: so the land became Pharaoh’s.

Così Giuseppe acquistò per il Faraone tutte le terre d'Egitto, perché gli Egiziani vendettero ciascuno il proprio campo, poiché la carestia li colpiva gravemente. Così il paese diventò proprietà del Faraone.
