Genesis 31:35 ~ ﺗﻜﻮﻳﻦ 31:35

A nd she said to her father, Let it not displease my lord that I cannot rise up before thee; for the custom of women is upon me. And he searched, but found not the images.

فَقالَتْ راحِيلُ لِأبِيها: «لا تَغضَبْ مِنِّي يا سَيِّدِي، فَأنا لا أسْتَطِيعُ الوُقُوفَ أمامَكَ. إذْ عَلَيَّ العادَةُ الشَّهْرِيَّةُ.» فَفَتَّشَ لابانُ، لَكِنَّهُ لَمْ يَجِدْ أوْثانَ بَيتِهِ.
