A nd out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

Domnul Dumnezeu a făcut din pămînt toate fiarele cîmpului şi toate păsările cerului; şi le -a adus la om, ca să vadă cum are să le numească; şi orice nume pe care -l dădea omul fiecărei vieţuitoare, acela -i era numele.
