P elo que disse Saul ae seu escudeiro: Arranca a tua espada, e atravessa-me com ela, para que porventura não venham esses incircuncisos, e me atravessem e escarneçam de mim. Mas o seu escudeiro não quis, porque temia muito. Então Saul tomou a espada, e se lançou sobre ela.

Then said Saul to his armorbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith, lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armorbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took his sword, and fell upon it.
