E ntão Áquis chamou a Davi e disse-lhe: Como vive o Senhor, tu és reto, e a sua entrada e saída comigo no arraial é boa aos meus olhos, pois nenhum mal tenho achado em ti, desde o dia em que vieste ter comigo, até o dia de hoje; porém aos chefes não agradas.

Then Achish called David and said to him, “As the Lord lives, you have been honest. You go out and come in with me in the army and it is good in my eyes. I have found nothing wrong in you from the day you came to me until this day. But you are not pleasing in the eyes of the leaders.
