F oram, pois, Davi e Abisai de noite ao povo; e eis que Saul estava deitado, dormindo dentro do acampamento, e a sua lança estava pregada na terra ã sua cabeceira; e Abner e o povo estavam deitados ao redor dele.

So David and Abishai came to the people by night, and behold, Saul lay sleeping inside the circle of the camp with his spear stuck in the ground at his head; and Abner and the people were lying around him.
