E ntão os irmãos de sua mãe falaram todas essas palavras a respeito dele aos ouvidos de todos os cidadãos de Siquém; e o coração deles se inclinou a seguir Abimeleque; pois disseram: E nosso irmão.

And his mother’s kinsmen spoke all these words concerning him in the hearing of all the men of Shechem, and their hearts inclined to follow Abimelech, for they said, He is our brother.
