S iom, porém, não se fiou de Israel para o deixar passar pelo seu território; pelo contrário, ajuntando todo o seu povo, acampou em Jaza e combateu contra Israel.

But Sihon did not trust Israel to pass through his territory; so Sihon gathered all his people together and encamped at Jahaz and fought with Israel.
