Josué 24:8 ~ Joshua 24:8

E ntão eu vos trouxe ã terra dos amorreus, que habitavam além do Jordão, os quais pelejaram contra vós; porém os entreguei na vossa mão, e possuístes a sua terra; assim os destruí de diante de vós.

And I brought you into the land of the Amorites, who dwelt beyond the Jordan, and they fought with you, and I gave them into your hand, and ye took possession of their land, and I destroyed them from before you.
