P orque a palavra de Deus é viva e eficaz, e mais cortante do que qualquer espada de dois gumes, e penetra até a divisão de alma e espírito, e de juntas e medulas, e é apta para discernir os pensamentos e intenções do coração.

For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
