E ntão clamamos ao Senhor Deus de nossos pais, e o Senhor ouviu a nossa voz, e atentou para a nossa aflição, o nosso trabalho, e a nossa opressão;

Then we cried to the Lord, the God of our fathers. The Lord heard our voice and saw our troubles, our work, and how hard our lives were.
