P orque meu é todo primogênito entre os filhos de Israel, tanto entre os homens como entre os animais; no dia em que, na terra do Egito, feri a todo primogênito, os santifiquei para mim.

For all the firstborn of the Israelites are Mine, both of man and beast; on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt, I consecrated them and set them apart for Myself.
