P ois, tendo eles subido até o vale de Escol, e visto a terra, desanimaram o coração dos filhos de Israel, para que não entrassem na terra que o Senhor lhes dera.

They went up to the valley of Eshcol and saw the land. Then they took the desire away from the people of Israel so that they did not go into the land the Lord had given them.
