R espondeu-lhes ele: Levantai-me, e lançai-me ao mar, e o mar se vos aquietará; porque eu sei que por minha causa vos sobreveio esta grande tempestade.

Jonah said to them, “Pick me up and throw me into the sea. Then the sea will quiet down for you. For I know that this bad storm has come upon you because of me.”
