Levítico 17:14 ~ Leviticus 17:14

P ois, quanto ã vida de toda a carne, o seu sangue é uma e a mesma coisa com a sua vida; por isso eu disse aos filhos de Israel: Não comereis o sangue de nenhuma carne, porque a vida de toda a carne é o seu sangue; qualquer que o comer será extirpado.

For the soul of all flesh, its life, is in its blood; therefore, I have said unto the sons of Israel, Ye shall not eat the blood of any flesh, for the soul (or the life) of all flesh is its blood; whoever eats it shall be cut off.
