D epois o rei se dirigiu para o seu palácio, e passou a noite em jejum; e não foram trazidos ã sua presença instrumentos de música, e fugiu dele o sono.

Then the king went off to his palace and spent the night fasting, and no entertainment was brought before him; and his sleep fled from him.
