E le clamou em alta voz e disse assim: Derrubai a árvore, e cortai-lhe os ramos, sacudi as suas folhas e espalhai o seu fruto; afugentem-se os animais de debaixo dela, e as aves dos seus ramos.

he cried aloud, and said thus: Hew down the tree, and cut off its branches, shake off its leaves, and scatter its fruit; let the beasts get away from under it, and the birds from its branches.
