F ora está a espada, e dentro a peste e a fome; o que estiver no campo morrerá ã espada; e o que estiver na cidade, devorálo-a a fome e a peste.

The sword is outside, and disease and hunger are inside. He who is in the field will die by the sword. And he who is in the city will be destroyed by disease and hunger.
