Jeremias 40:5 ~ Jeremiah 40:5

S e assim quiseres, volta a Gedalias, filho de Aicão filho de Safã e a quem o rei de Babilônia constituiu governador das cidades de Judá, e habita com ele no meio do povo; ou vai para qualquer outra parte que te aprouver ir. E deu-lhe o capitão da guarda sustento para o caminho, e um presente, e o deixou ir.

Now while he had not yet gone back, Go back then, he said, to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people; or go wherever it seems right to you to go. So the captain of the guard gave him food and a present, and let him go.
