O ra, pois, ouve agora, ó rei, meu senhor: seja aceita agora a minha súplica diante de ti; não me faças tornar ã casa de Jônatas, o escriba, para que eu não venha a morrer ali.

But now, please listen, O my lord the king; please let my petition come before you and do not make me return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, that I may not die there.”
