P ois a terra está cheia de adúlteros; por causa da maldição a terra chora, e os pastos do deserto se secam. A sua carreira é má, e a sua força não é reta.

For the land is full of adulterers (forsakers of God, Israel’s true Husband). Because of the curse the land mourns, the pastures of the wilderness are dried up. They rush into wickedness; and their course is evil, their might is not right.
