E ntão do resto faz para si um deus, uma imagem de escultura; ajoelha-se diante dela, prostra-se, e lhe dirige a sua súplica dizendo: Livra-me porquanto tu és o meu deus.

And the rest of it he makes into a god, His carved image. He falls down before it and worships it, Prays to it and says, “Deliver me, for you are my god!”
