P ois eles me disseram: Faze-nos um deus que vá adiante de nós; porque, quanto a esse Moisés, o homem que nos tirou da terra do Egito, não sabemos o que lhe aconteceu.

For they said to me, ‘Make us gods that shall go before us; as for this Moses, the man who brought us out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.’
