E ntão estendeu Moisés sua vara sobre a terra do Egito, e o Senhor trouxe sobre a terra um vento oriental todo aquele dia e toda aquela noite; e, quando amanheceu, o vento oriental trouxe os gafanhotos.

So Moses stretched out his staff over the land of Egypt, and the Lord directed an east wind on the land all that day and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
