Ester 4:16 ~ Esther 4:16

V ai, ajunta todos os judeus que se acham em Susã, e jejuai por mim, e não comais nem bebais por três dias, nem de noite nem de dia; e eu e as minhas moças também assim jejuaremos. Depois irei ter com o rei, ainda que isso não é segundo a lei; e se eu perecer, pereci.

“Go, gather together all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day. I and my maidens will also fast the same way. Then I will go in to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish.”
